LONG ISLAND CITY CHILTONS

The Chilton pen company moved to Long Island City, New York between September 26th and October 16th 1929. During this time the pens were restyled and the filling mechanism was redesigned. The company also introduced an entire line of what can be considered unique and beautiful colors. Because of this, the Long Island production pens are highly prized amongst collectors. It is accepted that there are 15 color variations for the entire production of Long Island pens, along with 8 different model sizes, and two variations, resulting in vest pocket and ringtop models as well. Included below are several links to further illustrate the Long Island Chilton years.
